Catamaran Literary Magazine

Elizabeth McKenzie, novelist and senior editor at Chicago Quarterly Review, was named Fiction Editor for Catamaran Literary Reader, a new quarterly print-based literary magazine based in the Tannery Arts Center in Santa Cruz.

McKenzie talks about Catamaran:

“Catamaran excites me because Catherine Segurson wants to establish a literary presence in Santa Cruz, a hub for writers and readers and all people who are invigorated and refreshed by that presence in their community. As fiction editor I will bring many years of experience as an editor at The Atlantic Monthly and the Chicago Quarterly Review, a writer's understanding of other writers, and a web of like minded contacts locally and beyond.”
